Horrorscape (Horrorscape, #2)
Nenia Campbell
Insurgent - Veronica Roth Cant wait to read this but I fear an evil cliffhanger! Will hold off until nearer to release of Book 3, Allegiant (22nd October! - I love coming to a series late and being able to binge on it!)
Fearscape (Horrorscape, #1) - Nenia Campbell 4 I'm creeped out & conflicted stars!!

Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell Wow this sounds all kinds of special from the blurb :-)
Wethering The Storm (The Storm, #2) - Samantha Towle 3.5 Didn't live up to Book 1 Stars

Sweet, if a little predictable and nothing new. Unfortunately not a patch on the intensity of Book 1. I may stop reading follow ups to books I love !! (yeah right!)

But they get a star for the cute as hell June and Johnny reference that melted my heart in Book 1 and was used very nicely in Book 2
Conversion (Conversion #1) - S.C. Stephens Really enjoyed this! Definitely slow paced in parts' 50-80% I was reading for days and days. and overdescriptive at times but I love the concept of this '"Metrovampire", Emma and Teren were an awesome and FUNCTIONAL (hallelujah !!) couple who were committed and passionate and faced everything together, and the last chapter melted my heart.
Can't wait for follow up, as I hear its even better

Random Highlight-y bits...

"If his only drawback was a pair of sharp teeth and a penchant for haemoglobin, well, I'd take it."

"You're a metro-vampire. you drink espresso and drive a hybrid and work for a lifestyle magazine and dress better than any man I know."

"Are you a couple hundred years old? Have you seen civil wars or the first cars or thin Elvis?"... he cocked his head at me "I'm 25".
Untitled (The Artists Trilogy, #0.25) - Karina Halle LOVE the novellas / anthologies for Experiment in Terror, so I'm sure I'll love this to.

I loved Ellie and Camdens high school flashbacks in Sins and Needles (Who wouldn't want to be included in 'Ellie and Camdens day of fun'??)

Love how Karina Halle develops her characters so much you WANT to know what they were like in high school, who they were at every stage of their lives.

(and I just realised I need a new adjective other than love)

TAINT - S.L. Jennings My jaw just dropped at this blurb!! Fucking hell this sounds intriguing / awesome / crazy
Obsession - Jennifer L. Armentrout Really enjoyed this- absolutely cannot wait for Origins now! Wait is killing me!
Thief (Love Me With Lies, #3) - Tarryn Fisher Just finished and I feel wiped out. That epilogue was so bittersweet
Outlander - Diana Gabaldon Hmmmm Im not sure about this one now! I added to my TBR as Ive seen a few peoples says its an all time fav. But then I remembered its the book my mother and grandmother are always raving about. Now I love my wee granny but do I wanna read the same smut as her? Its bad enough she read FSoG! then I binged on some 1 star reviews (bad book reviews are my crack) and I think I shall avoid this book. Is it worth reading? Taking into account that I AM Scottish, so a Scottish Brogue doesnt turn me into a melty puddlle like it does some other ladies!
Dirty Red (Love Me With Lies, #2) - Tarryn Fisher I wasn't sure about being inside Leah's head, some of her 'mother techniques' had me reading through my fingers. And I did miss Olivia and Calebs story. But I found myself warming to Leah, shes a bitch but at least she is who she is, and shell do anything for what she believes she loves. If anything Caleb dropped dramatically from my starry-eyed opinion of him in Book 1, he showed himself to be kind of weak and flaky - not attractive.

This book was as much of a rollercoaster as Book 1, The Opportunist. I found myself squealing,'eeping', bouncing around on the sofa. And the second I put it down I started Book 3 Thief. I dont know what I'm going to do when these scheming, manipulative, messed up liars are out of my life!

Basically...I love this series :-)
Left Drowning - Jessica Park I seem to be the only person in the world who didn't love Flat Out Love, but I will give this a try
Sempre - J.M. Darhower This book was brilliant. Took me a little while to connect to the characters, Haven was so sheltered and Carmine such an immature shallow ASS, but it was worth it to see their journey and how they grew. The 2nd half knocked my socks off! So tense, I couldn't put it down for 5 hours.

Glad I finally got round to reading this. In a way I'm glad I waited because now I don't have to wait as long for the follow up!

Also, I am not usually one for casting but Corrado WAS Mike Ehrmantrout from Breaking Bad in my mind! (And Squint was The Clamps from Futurama, I have a messed up brain!)
Unbreakable (Unbreakable, #1) - Rebecca Shea gorgeous cover but the blurb seems a bit... Bland . Will wait to see what my GR friends think!
Come Alive - Karina Halle All the Stars!

Another absolutely amazeballs Experiment In Terror book. Could I love Dex & Perry any more? Yes, it would appear the answer is always F*ck Aye!

Some Highlights:
Dex as the proud, over excited boyfriend was heart melting,

Perry coming in to her own and pwning b*tch face Jen, I did a little happy dance, take that Jessica Alba Skankhoe!

New Orleans- loved the voodoo vibe, and it definitely achieved required creepfactor.

Dex getting some answers about Max, and then a billion other unanswered questions that almost made me have a breakdown!

oh and how could I forget... the phrase 'tool in hand like a vag mechanic'! God Dex, you have a way with words.

The ending left me so ready for Ashes to Ashes, I need more because I love these books like a fat kid loves cake, or tootsie rolls (whatever they are). Would love to see some of these scenes from Perrys POV (The first date, the drama, even the airplane scene) so if Karina Halle feels like being even more spectacularly awesome than she already is, that'd be great lol
